Job Summary:

Our client, a well-established company in Alberta, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, training, performance management, employee relations, and more. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in HR management and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs
– Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
– Coordinate employee training and development programs
– Oversee performance management processes
– Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR matters
– Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
– Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for management
– Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in HR management
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP, CHRL) is preferred
