Job Description:

Our client, a leading technology company in Toronto, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of technical projects, from initiation to closure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, adherence to timelines, and budget control.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
– Lead and manage cross-functional project teams
– Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
– Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues
– Ensure effective communication and change management throughout the project lifecycle
– Manage project resources, including allocation and utilization
– Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in technical project management
– Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
– Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
– PMP certification is an asset
– Experience in software development or IT infrastructure projects is preferred
