Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
– Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
– Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
– Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
– Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation
– Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
– 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
– Proficiency with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
