The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with a focus on commercial building projects.

Key responsibilities:
– Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects
– Manage the bid process, including obtaining quotes from subcontractors and vendors
– Collaborate with project managers and site superintendents to develop detailed project budgets and schedules
– Conduct site visits to assess the scope of work and identify potential challenges
– Act as a liaison between the client, design team, and construction personnel to ensure clear communication and accurate project pricing
– Maintain and update a comprehensive cost database for materials, labor, and equipment
