Job Title: Assistant Plant Manager

Location: Aurora, ON

Salary: $65,000 – $75,000

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Plant Manager to join their team in Aurora. The Assistant Plant Manager will work closely with the Plant Manager to oversee all plant operations and ensure production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist Plant Manager in daily operations of the plant
– Oversee production activities to ensure efficiency and quality
– Manage production schedules and implement process improvements
– Train and supervise plant personnel
– Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
– Develop and implement plant policies and procedures
– Monitor and report on plant performance metrics

Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
– 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Experience working with food production is a plus
– Knowledge of safety and quality standards
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
