Job Description:

Position Title: Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Part Time

Location: Oshawa, ON

We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team on a part-time basis in Oshawa, ON. The successful candidate will provide personal care to clients in their homes, promoting their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
– Provide personal care to clients including grooming, dressing, bathing, and toileting
– Assist clients with mobility, transferring, and positioning as needed
– Support clients with medication reminders and administration
– Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation
– Ensure client safety and well-being at all times
– Document and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Qualifications:
– Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification from an accredited institution
– Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is an asset
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred
