Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Personal Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct assistance to individuals with daily living activities in their home or in a residential care facility.

Responsibilities:
– Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
– Provide assistance with mobility, including transferring clients from bed to wheelchair or vice versa
– Help with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
– Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
– Monitor clients’ health and well-being, reporting any concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
– Maintain accurate records of clients’ care and progress
– Provide emotional support and companionship to clients

Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience working as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role
– CPR and First Aid certification
– Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
