Job Description

We are currently looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team.

Responsibilities:
– Study blueprints and specifications to determine materials required and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated
– Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
– Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
– Assemble and fasten materials, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue
– Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
– Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses and buildings, using paint, hand tools, and paneling

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Carpenter
– Proficient in using hand and power tools
– Ability to interpret blueprints and follow technical instructions
– Strong attention to detail
– Good physical condition and endurance
– High school diploma or equivalent
