Job Description

Job Title: Dental Hygienist

Location: Edmonton, AB

Salary: $30.00 to $45.00 / hour (To be discussed)

Vacancies: 3 Vacancies

Job Type: Permanent, Full time 35 to 44 hours / week

Start date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Morning, Day

Employer does not cover the relocation costs

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: No experience

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body

Specific Skills

– Conduct initial dental assessments and consult with dentists on patient care
– Take dental impressions
– Instruct patients regarding oral hygiene
– Eliminate plaque and debris from teeth and gums
– Chart dental conditions based on examinations
– Apply fluoride treatments
– Remove stains and deposits from teeth
– Administer local anesthetics
