The BMCC IT team is responsible for supporting digital product management, tech currency, and overall brand, marketing, communications, and citizenship initiatives within the organization.

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation tasks.

Key responsibilities include:
– Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
– Preparing financial statements and reports
– Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
– Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
– Communicating with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and support as needed

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
– 1-2 years of experience in accounting
