Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Controller to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Controller to maintain financial controls, prepare financial statements, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
– Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
– Help develop and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy of financial data
– Collaborate with the Controller on budgeting and forecasting processes
– Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making
– Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation
– Provide support and guidance to staff on accounting policies and procedures
– Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– CPA designation is preferred
– 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance
– Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
