The job is for a Career Guidance Program Manager in Surrey, with a focus on developing strategies and initiatives to help Coast communities thrive. The position is temporary for 12 months.
Job Title: Collections Agent

Location: Ottawa, ON

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently seeking a Collections Agent to join our team in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reaching out to customers to collect payment on their overdue accounts. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be assertive, and be able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
– Contact customers by telephone to collect payment on overdue accounts
– Negotiate payment terms and agreements with customers
– Update account information in our system
– Meet collection targets and goals set by management
– Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times

Qualifications:
– Previous experience in collections or a related field
– Strong communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to work well under pressure
– Detail-oriented and organized
– Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
– High school diploma or equivalent
