Position: Assistant Store Manager

Location: Toronto, ON

Our client, a well-established retail company, is currently seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join their team in Toronto, ON. The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the Store Manager in creating and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
– Manage and motivate a team of retail staff to meet and exceed sales targets
– Ensure that store operations run smoothly and efficiently
– Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues
– Monitor inventory levels and work with the Store Manager to place orders and maintain stock levels
– Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff members
– Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
– Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety standards

Qualifications:
– Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience
– Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills
– Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading a successful team
– Knowledge of inventory management and retail operations
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
