Job Description
Position: Database Administrator

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company’s databases.

Responsibilities:
– Install and upgrade the database server and application tools
– Monitor databases for performance and security issues
– Ensure data integrity and security
– Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
– Work closely with the development team to optimize database performance
– Troubleshoot database issues and outages
– Perform routine database maintenance tasks
– Write and maintain documentation on database procedures and configurations

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
– 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
– Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
– Experience with database backup and recovery procedures
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
