Job Description

Position: Assistant Store Manager

Location: Birmingham, AL

Salary: $25,000 – $30,000 per year

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including customer service, sales, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the Store Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales goals
– Provide excellent customer service to all customers, resolving any issues or complaints in a professional manner
– Supervise and train store staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and able to provide exemplary customer service
– Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate merchandise restocking and organization
– Monitor store cleanliness and appearance, making sure all merchandise is properly displayed
– Assist with marketing and promotional activities to drive store traffic and increase sales
– Complete administrative tasks such as payroll processing, scheduling, and reporting

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
– 2+ years of retail management experience
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Excellent customer service and sales abilities
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
– Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
