Driver Helper – Earn up to $23.70/hr

UPS is currently looking for Part-time Driver Helpers to work, assisting UPS drivers deliver packages. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. Driver Helpers usually meet the UPS driver at a mutually agreed upon time and location each weekday. Work hours can vary (assigned hours are 2-8 hours per day) depending on time of year and volume.

Driver Helper tasks and responsibilities:

– Daily activities include assisting with loading and unloading packages, delivering packages to windows and doorways, and assisting in product sorting and handling
– Properly use handheld scanners and other equipment to track and sort packages
– You will be required to work with and follow instruction given by the Driver
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying of packages

Driver Helper requirements:

– Ability to carry and lift packages up to 70 lbs.
– Ability to apply for any necessary licenses or permits in accordance with local and state regulations
– Flexible work environment and willingness to work a varied schedule
– Must be customer-service oriented
– Driver Helpers must comply with UPS appearance guidelines. Personal appearance, grooming, and uniform are consistent with that of the UPS driver. This is a physical, fast-paced outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages. Driver Helpers try to successfully complete the work on time and safely, in a manner that exceeds customer needs.
