Description:

The Department of Economics at Coventry University is seeking to enhance its reputation for research and teaching in the discipline, to make a full-time appointment at Research Associate level. The successful candidate will work on a research project in the Economics Department and contribute to the wider research agenda under the leadership of Professor Esther Lumsden. This post is for two years and offers considerable scope for the post-holder to progress their own research career.

Responsibilities:

– To contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals.
– To undertake collaborative research with colleagues within the University and elsewhere as required.
– To assist in the supervision of student projects, the development of student research skills, and fostering student employability.
– To provide subject-specific learning development support for students.
– To engage in continued professional development.

Qualifications:

– A PhD in Economics or closely related discipline.
– Solid understanding of theoretical and applied issues in economics.
