Assistant Controller

Location: Toronto

Salary: C$90000 – C$100000 per annum + 10% bonus

Key responsibilities:
– Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
– Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations
– Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
– Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
– Assist with external audits
– Provide guidance and support to junior staff

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– CPA designation is preferred
– 5+ years of experience in a similar role
– Strong knowledge of GAAP
– Excellent communication and leadership skills
