Job Description

Our client, a well-established and growing company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
– Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
– Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
– Oversee general ledger reconciliation and maintenance
– Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management
– Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
– Support external audits as needed
– Mentor and train junior accounting staff

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– CPA designation is preferred
– 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field
– Strong knowledge of GAAP
– Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
