Location: Toronto

Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 a year

Job Description:

Our client, a well-established engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all mechanical engineering projects from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and develop design solutions
– Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and other design software
– Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and regulations
– Lead and mentor junior engineers and drafters on project teams
– Provide technical expertise and support to clients and project teams
– Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
– Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is preferred
– Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on HVAC systems and building design
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
– Strong project management and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
