Description:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide assistance to clients in their homes in the Brampton area. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to clients in need.

Responsibilities:

– Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
– Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
– Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
– Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care activities
– Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
– Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times

Qualifications:

– Completion of a recognized PSW training program
– Current certification in First Aid and CPR
– Experience working as a Personal Support Worker in a home care setting
– Knowledge of proper personal care techniques and infection control procedures
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
