Job Description

Company: HUMBER RIVER HOSPITAL

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Environmental Services Supervisor to join our team at Humber River Hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Environmental Services department, ensuring a clean and safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

– Supervise a team of Environmental Services staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
– Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the hospital
– Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless flow of services
– Inspect facilities and equipment for maintenance and repairs
– Prepare reports and performance evaluations for staff
– Implement and enforce hospital policies and procedures
– Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
– Assist with budget planning and resource allocation

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– 3+ years of experience in environmental services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
– Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment
– Strong communication and leadership skills
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
– Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
