Job description: OverviewIDC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Project Manager/Coordinator to support product standardization and development initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, this role will be instrumental in managing and coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring on-time delivery.   • Coordinate product standardization and development efforts from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, operations, Research, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment and efficient execution of project goals.
  • Organize and lead regular project meetings, including status updates, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Develop, track, and manage project timelines, milestones, and critical deliverables, ensuring the smooth progression of projects.
  • Oversee and support the development of product standardization processes, ensuring consistency in design, specifications, and documentation.
  • Identify potential project risks, propose mitigation strategies, and work proactively to resolve issues before they impact project timelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting notes, and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Assist in allocating resources effectively, ensuring that teams have the support needed to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and quality of the product development and standardization process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or combination or related field and demonstrated experience.
  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years of project management or coordination experience, ideally in a non-technical product environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional projects with preference for working with product management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, present updates, build and manage relationships across teams and levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, assess options, and implement solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
