Sales Associate – Merchandise

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sales Associate focusing on merchandise. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, stocking shelves, processing transactions, and providing excellent customer service. In addition, the Sales Associate will help maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:
– Greet customers and assist them in finding the merchandise they are looking for
– Process cash and credit card transactions accurately
– Stock shelves and displays with new merchandise
– Maintain a clean and organized store environment
– Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products
– Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and restocking products

Qualifications:
– Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Strong attention to detail
– Basic math skills
– Ability to stand for extended periods of time
