The position involves working under the supervision of the Project Manager as an Engineering Student in the BC Region. The role emphasizes not only contributing to upcoming projects but also focusing on the student’s personal and professional development. PCL Construction is seeking Engineering Students for their BC Region district within the Canadian Buildings Division, available for 4-12 months starting in September 2025. This full-time position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry under the direct supervision of a Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate work specific to scope/trades.
• Participate in project meetings.
• Conduct deficiency walks.
• Input and update deficiency logs.
• Perform quantity takeoffs.
• Coordinate sub-trade work.
• Create and update schedules using Suretrak software.
• Obtain scheduling information from sub-trades.

Qualifications:

• Strong desire to work in a construction environment; prior field construction experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $20.20 – $26 per hour, determined individually based on completed school terms, relevant work experience, role, and work location.
