The position is for an Engineering Student in the BC Region, reporting directly to the Project Manager. The focus is not only on upcoming projects and industry trends but also on the student’s future development and how the organization can support their growth.

PCL Construction is seeking Engineering Students for their BC Region district within the Canadian Buildings Division, available for 4-12 months starting in September 2025. This position reports directly to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate work specific to scope/trades.
• Participate in project meetings.
• Conduct deficiency walks.
• Input and update deficiency logs.
• Perform quantity takeoffs.
• Coordinate sub-trade work.
• Create and update schedules using Suretrak software.
• Obtain scheduling information from sub-trades.

Qualifications:

• Strong desire to work in a construction environment; prior field construction experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting.

Compensation:

PCL Student wages are determined individually based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, role, and work location.
