Title: Personal Caregiver

Location: Mississauga, ON

Salary: $17 – $20 per hour

Job Description:

– Provide physical support to individuals with disabilities or illness in their daily activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and feeding
– Assist with household tasks including meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, and running errands
– Monitor and administer medications according to prescribed schedules
– Help clients maintain their independence and social integration by participating in activities and outings
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients
– Follow established care plans and routines to promote the health and well-being of clients
– Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude towards clients and their families

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is an asset
– CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Compassionate and patient nature
– Ability to handle stressful situations with empathy and understanding
– Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred
