Responsibilities: The manager will oversee event programming operations and will also handle various tasks assigned by senior event staff, the Event Manager, or the Regional Director.

Reports To: Manager, Event Programming Operations
Job Summary:
As part of the Event Management team, the Event Programmer will support Ticketmaster clients with all their event management needs. This includes building events and making updates to events based on work requests from clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately input event data into the Ticketmaster Host system, ensuring adherence to procedural best practices and established standards.

Identify and resolve event-related errors promptly.

Collaborate with clients, promoters, and internal departments such as marketing, accounting, customer service, event operations, and client support when creating events and distributing information regarding those events.

Establish and develop relationships with assigned clients.

Participate in an on-call schedule rotation among the team, providing after-hours, weekend, and holiday client support as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Event Specialist, Event Management Manager, or Regional Director of Event Management.
Technical Skills and Competencies:

1-3 years of experience with the Ticketmaster System or related field experience, with some exposure and knowledge of the Ticketmaster system.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities.

Creativity, latitude, and problem-solving skills.
-
Box office experience is a plus.

Overall awareness of the entertainment business is important.

Knowledge of how Ticketmaster departments impact one another and outside clients is a plus.

Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays, evenings, and holidays.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Proficiency in computer literacy with excellent data entry skills.

High school diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS degree is preferred.
