Job Description:

Triton Environmental Consultants is seeking a passionate and dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As an Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, developing remediation strategies, and providing technical expertise to help our clients achieve their environmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
– Conducting environmental impact assessments and developing strategies for mitigating potential environmental risks
– Designing and implementing remediation plans for contaminated sites
– Providing technical support to clients and regulatory agencies on environmental compliance and permitting issues
– Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive environmental solutions
– Conducting fieldwork and data collection as needed
– Staying up-to-date with environmental regulations and industry best practices
– Communicating findings and recommendations to clients through written reports and presentations

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
– Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is an asset
– 3+ years of experience in environmental engineering or related field
– Strong knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and guidelines
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
