Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 per annum
ICDS is currently recruiting for a Senior Cost Manager to join a leading commercial property consultancy based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cost management services on a range of commercial property projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities:
– Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to establish project briefs and budget requirements
– Preparing detailed cost plans and estimates
– Monitoring project costs and identifying potential areas for cost savings
– Liaising with contractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
– Managing change control throughout the project lifecycle
– Providing regular progress reports to clients
– Conducting post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
Qualifications and experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
– MRICS qualification preferred
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost management within the commercial property sector
– Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
