Job Description

Are you an experienced Event Planner looking for a new challenge? Our company is seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Event Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing a variety of events, from corporate meetings to social gatherings.

Key responsibilities:

– Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and goals
– Develop event concepts and themes that align with client expectations
– Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and transportation
– Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and track expenses
– Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of events to ensure they run smoothly
– Communicate with clients and team members throughout the event planning process to keep them informed and address any concerns
– Evaluate event success and gather feedback for future improvements

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in event planning and coordination
– Strong communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
– Proficiency with event planning software and Microsoft Office suite
– Certification in event planning is a plus
