Responsibilities:

– Engage with the local community to promote the organization and its services
– Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase community involvement
– Coordinate events, workshops, and other activities to build relationships with community members
– Collaborate with local organizations, businesses, and government agencies to support community initiatives
– Collect and analyze data on community engagement efforts to measure impact and effectiveness
– Create and distribute marketing materials to raise awareness of the organization and its programs
– Provide support and guidance to community members seeking assistance or information
– Maintain accurate records of community interactions and outreach activities
– Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures related to community engagement

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in community development, social work, or a related field
– Previous experience in community engagement, outreach, or public relations
– Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse community environment
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
– Knowledge of community resources, services, and challenges
– Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset
– Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle may be required
