The manager of traffic engineering and road safety is responsible for ensuring quality management in transportation engineering projects, including overseeing project management, engineering economic and statistics, and construction. Additionally, they are in charge of road safety initiatives.
Title: Junior Data Analyst

Location: Vancouver, BC

We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to help inform business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. The Junior Data Analyst will also be responsible for creating reports and presentations to present findings to the leadership team.

Key responsibilities:
– Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and insights
– Assisting with database management and data cleaning
– Creating reports and presentations to communicate findings
– Collaborating with team members to support business decision-making
– Contributing to the development and improvement of data collection processes

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Economics)
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Python)
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
– Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
