The Senior Policy Analyst is a key position at ECC, reporting to the Manager of Policy and Planning and working as part of a collaborative and encouraging team. They provide critical leadership on a wide range of policy and project files.
Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Barrie, ON

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 a year

Our client, a leading manufacturer in Barrie, ON, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management.

Responsibilities:
– Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
– Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports
– Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
– Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives
– Manage the company’s budget and forecast financial performance
– Provide recommendations and insights to improve financial processes and procedures
– Maintain a strong internal control environment to mitigate financial risk
– Manage and lead a team of accounting professionals

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
– CPA designation is preferred
– 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a management role
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
