Gowling WLG is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to manage marketing initiatives for their Vancouver office, as well as relevant sectors and practice groups on a national level.
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support our office operations and ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities:
– Answer and direct phone calls
– Organize and schedule appointments
– Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
– Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
– Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
– Develop and maintain a filing system
– Update and maintain office policies and procedures
– Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
– Maintain contact lists
– Book travel arrangements
– Submit and reconcile expense reports
– Provide general support to visitors
Requirements:
– Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
– Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
– Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong organizational and planning skills
– Proficiency in MS Office
– High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
