Job Description

Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Vancouver, BC

Our client, a reputable transportation company, is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the shipment and delivery of goods, coordinating with carriers and suppliers, and ensuring that all logistics operations are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

– Communicate with carriers and suppliers to coordinate shipments and deliveries
– Track and monitor the movement of goods throughout the supply chain
– Ensure that all logistics operations comply with company policies and procedures
– Handle any issues or delays in shipments, and work to find solutions in a timely manner
– Maintain accurate records of all shipments and logistics activities
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and other partners in the supply chain

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
– 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
– Detail-oriented and organized
