Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic – Red Deer

Job Description:

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all plant equipment. The successful candidate must have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and possess excellent problem-solving skills. The Maintenance Mechanic will work closely with other team members to ensure the efficient operation of the plant

Key Responsibilities:

– Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment
– Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as they arise
– Complete work orders and log all maintenance activities in the system
– Assist with equipment installations and modifications
– Maintain a clean and safe work environment
– Adhere to all safety and quality standards
– Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance
– Strong mechanical aptitude
– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
– Experience working with production equipment
– Basic computer skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
