HDR is seeking a Senior Solid Waste Project Manager for its Canadian Waste Sector. The ideal candidate should be experienced and motivated, with the ability to develop capture plan strategies and manage waste-related projects and scope. They should also be a seller-doer, able to bring in new projects.
Title: Operations Manager
Company: Nanotek Precision Machining

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Nanotek Precision Machining. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations, including production, quality control, supply chain management, and logistics. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity
– Oversee production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of products
– Monitor and improve quality control processes
– Manage inventory and supply chain operations to minimize lead times and costs
– Work closely with other departments, such as engineering and sales, to ensure seamless operations
– Lead and mentor a team of production and logistics staff
– Analyze and report on key performance indicators to senior management
– Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
– Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations
– Proven leadership abilities and team management skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
– Knowledge of ERP or other production management systems
– Experience in the machining or metalworking industry is a plus
