The salary range for this position is CAD $45.46/Hr. – CAD $65.35/Hr. The position reports to the Manager and requires the ability to provide customer-focused services, lead change, manage conflict, possess effective project management skills, and have the ability to analyze data.
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and tracking all aspects of transportation and logistics within the organization. This includes overseeing shipment schedules, analyzing routes, and negotiating rates with carriers. The successful candidate must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments
– Negotiate rates with carriers for the transportation of goods
– Analyze routes and make recommendations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
– Maintain accurate records of all shipments and logistics activities
– Communicate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless coordination of transportation services
– Manage relationships with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods
– Provide support to the logistics team as needed

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination or related field
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry standards
