Job Description

Position: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for a variety of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

– Manage the full recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates
– Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding to ensure new employees are set up for success
– Address employee relations issues in a timely and professional manner
– Assist with performance management processes including goal setting, performance appraisals, and development plans
– Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
– Ensure compliance with all HR regulations and company policies
– Provide HR support to employees and managers on a variety of HR-related topics

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
– 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist role
– Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
– Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
