Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Fort St. John, BC. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing on-site customer support, maintenance, and installations of industrial equipment. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, be customer-focused, and have the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

– Travel to customer sites to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations of industrial equipment
– Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment, and recommend the most effective and efficient solutions
– Coordinate with customers to schedule service visits and provide updates on the status of repairs
– Complete all necessary paperwork, including service reports, time sheets, and expense reports
– Collaborate with the service and sales teams to improve customer satisfaction and drive equipment sales
– Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on job sites
– Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or technical training preferred
– 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably with industrial equipment or machinery
– Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
– Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an asset
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
– Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
