We design, supply and service a variety of water systems and monitoring equipment in industries ranging from pharmaceutical applications to food and beverage applications, and from microelectronic ultrapure water to municipal water treatment and industrial wastewater.Job DescriptionThe Compensation Intern is responsible for providing support in key compensation projects and programs across Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions. This role involves executing administrative and knowledge management tasks, as well as coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to obtain, organize, and review HR information while ensuring the delivery of the project requirements.Key Characteristics

  • Organized & Detail Oriented: Ability to systematize and process data accurately while keeping track of and delivering on multiple deadlines.
  • Digitally Fluent: Ability to work with Excel, tools and applications to assist with compensation program administrations.
  • Collaborative: Ability to work well with cross functional stakeholders in a collaborative and feedback driven environment.
  • Initiative: Demonstrates initiative with tasks and a drive for improving existing processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support key project activities such as global grading, job architecture, etc. by assisting with data collection, consolidation, project updates, process/program continuity efforts, summary report development and setting up meetings with various stakeholders.
  • Assist with tracking and updating project timelines and follow-up with relevant stakeholders on input needed on a regular cadence to ensure that project deliverables are met.
  • Assist with the development of a job catalog and related activities including but not limited to collecting job descriptions, crafting job summaries/descriptions as needed, job code creation, etc. as well as manage associated input on any applicable tools including SuccessFactors.
  • Extract HR reports, review and ensure accuracy and alignment of data using multiple sources of information.
  • Assist with communication drafts, presentation materials, position summaries, development of training materials, and other texts, as required.
  • Identify and raise issues, as well as recommend solutions related to data accuracy and knowledge management processes in assigned initiatives

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills, with a focus on attention to detail and delivering of high-quality results
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Passionate about enhancing processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Above average skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets (e.g. ability to use pivot, v and xlookup, charts, if statements, etc.); experience in using cloud and collaboration tools like SharePoint, OneDrive or Google Drive

QualificationsRequired:

  • Any Business-Related Diploma or Degree

Preferred:

  • Human Resources Management

Position: Customer Service Representative

Location: Calgary, Alberta
