The Clinical Research Coordinator manages and coordinates studies, demonstrating excellent time management skills and experience. They should have a basic knowledge of research and project accounting systems.
Job Description
Primary Objective:
The primary objective of the Optical Laboratory Technician is to assist in the processing and production of prescription eyeglasses utilizing various tools and equipment to meet customer specifications and ensure quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform lensometry and lens blocking processes to prepare lenses for surfacing.
2. Operate edging machines to shape lenses to fit frames.
3. Verify and inspect finished eyewear to ensure accuracy of prescriptions and quality standards.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to lens processing.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
6. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. Previous experience in optical laboratory work preferred.
3. Familiarity with lensometry, lens blocking, and edging machines.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
5. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
