Position: Food and Beverage Manager

Location: Regina, Saskatchewan

Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time

Our client, a prominent hotel in Regina, is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to join their team. This role includes overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations in the hotel, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service. The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards in food and beverage service, managing budgets, developing and implementing new menus, and supervising a team of staff.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement food and beverage strategies to achieve revenue targets
– Ensure all food and beverage operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations
– Manage and motivate a team of staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
– Monitor and control operating expenses within budgeted limits
– Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
– Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products
– Create a positive guest experience through exceptional service and food quality

Requirements:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
– Proven track record of revenue generation and cost control
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
– Knowledge of food and beverage trends and industry best practices
