Job Description

Position: Human Resources Manager

Location: Toronto, ON

Our client, a leading retail company, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR support and guidance to employees and management, overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with all HR policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and objectives
– Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and new hire orientations
– Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters
– Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
– Ensure compliance with all HR regulations and maintain accurate record-keeping
– Coordinate training and development programs for employees
– Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees and management
– Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
– 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a retail environment
– Strong knowledge of HR regulations and best practices
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
– HR certification (CHRP, CHRL) is an asset
