Job Description:

GVA Electrical Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Surrey, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. The Electrician will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical problems in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

– Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
– Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes
– Diagnose and repair electrical problems in residential and commercial settings
– Read blueprints and technical diagrams
– Perform preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems
– Work with power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
– Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
– Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Qualifications:

– Valid Electrician certification
– Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician
– Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and power tools
– Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
