Job Description:

We are seeking a Traffic Operations Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing traffic operations and analyzing traffic data to make recommendations for improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning.

Responsibilities:
– Analyze traffic data to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion
– Develop recommendations for traffic signal timings and other traffic control measures
– Collaborate with other engineers and agencies to implement traffic improvements
– Conduct traffic impact studies for new development projects
– Prepare reports and presentations on traffic operations and safety issues

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
– Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
– Experience with traffic signal timing software and traffic modeling tools
– Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
