Title: Pre-Press Manager

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 a year

Description:

Our client is a large printing company seeking a Pre-Press Manager to join their team in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing all aspects of the pre-press department, including overseeing a team of pre-press operators, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time, and troubleshooting any technical issues that arise. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Pre-Press Manager will report directly to the Production Manager and will be responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless workflow throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage all aspects of the pre-press department, including overseeing a team of pre-press operators, scheduling projects, and troubleshooting technical issues
– Ensure projects are completed accurately and on time, meeting quality standards and customer deadlines
– Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow throughout the production process
– Train and mentor pre-press operators, helping them develop their skills and meet performance goals
– Stay up-to-date on the latest pre-press technologies and software, making recommendations for improvements as needed

Qualifications:

– 3+ years of experience in a pre-press production environment
– Experience managing a team of pre-press operators
– Strong knowledge of pre-press technologies and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Esko Automation Engine
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
