Job Description

Our company is seeking to hire a skilled Carpenter to construct, repair, and install structures and fixtures. The Carpenter will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling wood, drywall, and other materials according to specific requirements. A successful Carpenter in our company should have excellent hand-eye coordination, a good understanding of basic math, and the ability to read and follow blueprints and sketches.

Responsibilities:
– Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements
– Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
– Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
– Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
– Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall, ensuring they are leveled and compatible
– Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
– Build scaffolding and other construction structures

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Carpenter
– Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
– Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
– Ability to read technical documents and drawings
– Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is preferred
