The Specialist supports the Platform and Project Planning Manager in ensuring project timing, labor allocation, and coordination between various teams including the Project Team, Platform & Modules Team, Planning Manager, Chief Project Engineer, and PMO Planning Supervisor.

Description:

Our client, a global leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join their team in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s supply chain operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, sourcing, procurement, production, and logistics
– Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
– Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of products
– Analyze data and trends to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes
– Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements
– Provide regular reports and updates on supply chain performance to management

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment
– Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
